What is a Trigger?              
          

A Trigger is an exceptional powerful feature our CRM has that allows you to set up advanced automation. You can get your CRM to do any type of action that you want it to do as you are moving people through the CRM. 

                       

There are many ways to set up a trigger to make your life easier. You can setup a Trigger so that whenever you apply a tag to a contact, it will automatically put them into a campaign. You can notify yourself or anyone for that matter, when a leads responds to a campaign. You can notify someone when a lead moves inside your pipeline. 

                       

These Triggers are very powerful as they can save you a ton of time and they do an exceptional job with following up with your leads and referral partners. 

                       

In order to create a Trigger, go to the navigation bar on the left hand side, click on Triggers, and then click on "Create New Basic Rule." 

                       

What we are doing is saying "if this happens, then do this." 

                                                        


 
                    
                        

1. WHAT SHOULD TRIGGER THIS RULE? 

                       

Add to campaign : A customer/lead was added to the campaign Customer replied : A contact responded to the campaign 

                       

Customer booked appointment : The customer booked an appointment themself 

                       

Pipeline stage changed : The pipeline stage was updated for an opportunity 

                       

Appointment : Runs on all appointment status updates 

                       

Trigger Link Clicked : Runs when your trigger link is clicked 

                       

Stale Opportunities : Runs when opportunities older than the given time duration 

                       

Forms submitted : Runs when a form is submitted Contact Tag : Runs when tags are added or removed 

                       

Opportunity status changed : Runs when the opportunity status gets changed 

                       

Survey submitted : Runs when a survey is submitted Birthday reminder : Runs on customer's birthday

TRIGGER EXAMPLES 

                       

This Trigger is used when someone books an appointment with you by using the Booking Widget we have installed in the CRM and you want them to be placed inside a campaign that reminds them of their upcoming appointments. 

                    

              
                        

This Trigger is used when you want the system to automatically send a contact a Happy Birthday email, sms, or ringless voicemail from a Happy Birthday campaign. 

                    

                        

This Trigger is setup so if anyone responds to any campaigns with the phrase "Stop" or "No," they'll automatically be removed from all campaigns and assigned as DND (do not disturb). 

                    

              

This Trigger is used when you want the system to automatically upload contacts with a specific tag to a campaign and you want them to be placed inside a Pipeline. 

                    
          

This Trigger is used when you want to notify yourself or someone on your team when they have an upcoming task due. The Trigger below shows a SMS will be sent 2 days before the task is due.
